Privacy Policy
Effective
Sirius is operated by Canis Major Research Corporation, a Delaware corporation. We collect as little personal data as we can.
What we collect
Your email address or wallet address when you sign in (Google, email code or wallet, through our authentication provider); invite and contact details you give us; your deposits, withdrawals, trades, balances and the wallet addresses you use; product activity tied to your pseudonymous account ID; and standard technical request data such as IP address. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and we do not collect identity documents.
Why
To run your account and trades, run invites, keep Sirius secure, screen wallet addresses against sanctions lists, meet legal obligations, improve the product, and send updates you opt in to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with providers that help run Sirius (hosting, authentication, sanctions screening, email, payment providers) and when the law requires. Trading venues see Sirius, not you. Card and bank purchases are handled by payment providers under their own policies; we never receive card or bank details.
Onchain data
Deposits and withdrawals on public blockchains are public and permanent. Your balances and trades inside Sirius are not published: what we post on Solana are proofs, which do not show your positions.
Keeping and protecting it
We keep data as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations, and protect it with encryption, restricted access and monitoring.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data where the law allows, and opt out of emails at any time. Sirius is only for people aged 18 and over.
Contact
Through the Sirius app, or @Sirius_Protocol on X. We will post any changes here with a new effective date.
